Families are selected on the basis of need, and income available to pay an interest free 20 year loan. Families have to pay a $700.00 down payment and furnish 200 hours of labor in the building of the house.  They also receive education in money management.

The chapter completed its first house in Thomson in 1998. The sixth house has just been completed.
