Covenant Groups for Men & Women

The men's group began as a "Promise Keepers" group, but is now a fellowship of prayer and Bible study.  Their "new" name is Men of Faith.
The women's group is new this fall.  Our hope is to help each other be more like Mary and less like Martha (Luke 10:38-42) in our busy and often fragmented lives.  The group will meet weekly, and moms who are helping with the children's choirs can freely take their turns with Joyce and Jeanie, returning to the group when they are not volunteering.  Our study will be shaped by those in the group, and one of our goals is to plan a women's retreat.

Disciple Bible Studies

Fall 2009 offerings will include Disciple I, Disciple III, and Jesus in the Gospels.  Our church events calendar provides the latest information on meeting schedules for these long-term studies.

Sunday School

Sunday School is from 10:15 - 11:00.  Classes are organized by age for childrenAdult classes are formed as the need arises.

Sunshine Club

Once per month this group of "seniors" gathers in our Family Life Center for food, fellowship, inspiration and fun.  The club is not limited to members of TFUMC, but open to anyone who is "of a certain age."  Travels around the state - day trips and overnight - are organized through the year (September thru May).

Women's Bible Study

Not all studies or small groups meet at the church.  We have two groups of women that meet in member's homes.  One at the Brunson's and One at the Lemley's.  The former is a group that came into existence when the church did the "Live Like You Were Dying" series.  The latter has been meeting longer, and uses a variety of video-assisted Bible studies.  For more information, contact the church office (076-595-3936).
